Local Biodiversity Action Plan

The Powys Local Biodiversity Action Plan (LBAP), published in 2002, included 17 Habitat Action Plans and 28 Species Action Plans. These action plans described the distinctive habitat types and important species with targets put in place to maintain and enhance them.

The Powys Nature Recovery Action Plan builds on the Powys LBAP, updating the actions to reflect our current situation. However, LBAP remains a valuable source of information and advice specific to the species and habitats included in the plan.
