LDP Submission Information
Statement of Submission
Following a decision at a meeting of Powys County Council's Cabinet on 15th December 2015, the Council has submitted its Local Development Plan (LDP) to the Welsh Government for Examination under section 64(1) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
The Examination of the LDP will be carried out by an Independent Inspector who will be appointed to determine whether the Plan is fundamentally 'sound'. The Inspector will assess the soundness of the LDP as a whole rather than simply consider individual objections. The inspector will base judgement on the evidence available, the representations made and the particular circumstances of the LDP and the area.
