Adult Social Services Information Support Team (ASSIST)

Adults in Powys can contact the council by calling ASSIST on 0345 602 7050

The ASSIST team provide information and advice on a wide range of support for people in Powys who are aged 18 or over.

"I contacted ASSIST to find a daytime activity session that I could access in my wheelchair near to home.  We found a great club with lovely staff."

You will be able to access information for older people services, sensory impairment, learning or physical disability and wellbeing, as well as adult safeguarding.

In addition, information and connection can be provided to a third sector broker/Community Connector for voluntary sector services.

A new text service for adults who are deaf or experiencing hearing loss is now live. 
Adults in Powys who are deaf or have hearing loss can now contact the council for information and advice for adult care and support by texting the ASSIST team on 07883 307 622. 
The team will reply with information on such as assessments, assistive technology, and signpost to voluntary groups and clinics.
