Household Waste Recycling Centres

If you, or anyone in your household has coronavirus symptoms, you should follow the government and NHS guidelines, self-Isolate and stay at home! Do not visit the HWRC. Any personal waste, such as tissues or wipes, should be double bagged and left for 72 hours before being put out for collection in our wheeled bin or purple sacks.
Important notice on Mixed Waste: In order to ensure that we maximise recycling at our Household Waste Recycling Centres the Council operates a 'no mixed waste' policy. This means that residents are required to sort their waste before visiting the sites, removing all recyclable material. Any resident bringing mixed waste to the recycling centres will be asked to sort this on site by site staff.
If you're bringing excess residual waste from a missed kerbside collection, please remember that lots more materials such as plastic film, Tetra Pak style food and beverage containers, and electricals, can be recycled at the HWRCs than through your weekly kerbside recycling collection. These items must also be sorted into the different recycling containers on site and not included in any residual rubbish bags.
Please see individual centres below for further information on what is expected from you before making your way to the centres:
