While our libraries continue to operate limited services due to coronavirus restrictions, the fastest and most convenient way to get books is to use our ebook and eaudiobook download service.
For those who prefer physical books, we offer an Order and Collect service – you tell us what you want to read, and we will hand-pick a selection of books for you to collect from the library entrance. You can request up to 10 books at a time, per card.
This service is only operating from some of our libraries, but we are working with volunteer networks and community groups across the county to facilitate collections from other locations, where possible.
You can also use this form if you are Shielding, and we will work with partner organisations to arrange a safe delivery to your doorstep.
Although we can’t promise to find particular author or titles for you, we will do our very best to find books that match your request from titles available at your chosen pickup location, and we hope to introduce you to some great new reads.
All books are quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours before your collection date, and for the same amount of time on their return. When you come to collect your items, social distancing measures in place to keep you and our staff safe. You can find more information in our FAQs.
If you are not already a member or the library, you can join here. You will be given a library number that you can use straightaway to either download ebooks and eaudiobooks, or use our Order & Collect service.
