Commercial Vehicle or Trailer (CVT) Permits allow householders to use their commercial type vehicle or trailer to take their domestic waste and recycling to our Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs).Please read the full terms and conditions before applying for a permit.
These permits are not for use by businesses to dispose of their commercial waste or recycling, and it is a criminal offence to do so. We do not allow businesses to dispose of residual waste at our HWRCs, but we offer a separate permit to allow the deposit of certain recyclable materials for a charge. For details of this permit, please contact the Waste Contracts team on 01597 826000 or email waste.contracts@powys.gov.uk
If you don't currently have a CVT permit but need one, you can easily apply online. We process permits as quickly as possible, but in case we need to contact you about your application, please allow 10 working days to prevent disappointment.
If you need to renew your permit, and your address and vehicle details are unchanged from last time, you can do so using the link below.
