Lead Residential Care roles

Overview of roles

You will be responsible for leading a team that will ensure children with complex emotional and behavioural needs are safe, healthy, learning, fulfilled and have their voices heard and acted upon.     

The Registered Manager with the support from the Deputy Care Manager will lead a team in the delivery of therapeutic care.  You will shape and oversee the effective running of the service to meet the statement of purpose that you will have been instrumental in developing, to ensure that the needs and outcomes of care experienced young people are achieved. 

Deputy Care Manager and Senior Residential Care Workers will take a lead role in managing shifts safely.  You will share your residential experience, and support staff in providing daily care.  You will be responsible for promoting healthy, safe routines and creating a warm, inclusive home.

You will lead a flexible team that will organise, encourage, and share residential and leisure activities that meet the needs of the children and young people at the home.  This will include outside activities such as maintaining the gardens, creating a vegetable patch and responsibility for the care, feeding and welfare of small animals. 

You must be able to drive and have a full clean driving licence.
